As a Yoga teacher, I collect, use and am responsible for certain personal information about you. This is regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union, including the United Kingdom, and I am responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information.

How I use your personal information

I use your name, email address and/or telephone number to contact you either to make arrangements for private tuition, or to provide you with information regarding current (or future) classes. Occasionally, I use your name, email address and/or telephone number to send you information regarding a topic we have covered in lesson. I use your street address to locate your premises when lessons take place there. I use any information you have provided me about your health to teach you in a manner that is appropriate to your needs and requirements.

Who I share your personal information with

I will not share your personal information with any third parties.

I will only share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law.

How long your personal data will be kept

I will hold your name, email address and telephone number indefinitely, unless you specifically request for them to be deleted. Your street address (where applicable) and health information will be held for as long as you are having lessons with me.

Reasons I can collect and use your personal information

I rely on Your Consent (that you have given clear consent for me to hold your personal data for a specific purpose) as the lawful basis on which I collect and use your personal data.

I have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way. I am the only person who has access to your personal information, which will be kept in strictest confidence.
