Rachel Ellison MBE, Executive Leadership Coach

“This is a method you try three times, before deciding whether it’s for you. Laura Marchetti’s approach is subtle, deep, almost minimal. Which is why you may not feel at first, that you’ve actually done any yoga moves! But then you notice how well you slept the night after the class. Or how you’re integrating a shoulder blade slide or drawing in a thigh bone to release the neck, whilst you’re eating your breakfast! This is yoga to live by, rather than yoga to show off with”

    Sheryl Sandler, Film Editor

“Laura is a wonderful yoga teacher. I've been attending her class for nearly 20 years, trying other teachers when I moved from the area but soon returning. We are encouraged to practise in a way that best suits our own body and not the person next to us. Laura always pays special attention to our individual needs and ailments. For Laura, it's not about the grand posture nor for how long you can hold it, it's about how you get there, the journey, that's important. Her seemingly gentle approach is in fact extremely powerful. The practice fills me with energy, clears my mind and helps me cope with the long hours of a stressful job”

    Liz Freedman, Retired University Lecturer

“In over twenty years of yoga I have done classes with dozens of teachers but have never found a better teacher than Laura. She always seems to understand at a very deep level what your body is doing, and what you need to do next. Her instructions are always clear and helpful and she creates a very positive atmosphere in the class. As I move into my seventies I am sure it is the gentle but effective movements we practise in Laura’s classes that are keeping me relatively supple and helping me to avoid the backaches and other pains that many of my contemporaries suffer”

    Tony Brown

“Laura is simply the best yoga teacher! She blends her natural passion with a melodic voice and clear instruction. She has an intuitive ability to find simple ways of working deep rooted areas of the body and after her classes I feel like I’ve undergone a mix of physio/massage/meditation. I’ve been going to her classes for 2 years and thoroughly recommend her”
